Mr. Santapau, your "comics" are very wonderful. I've been reading them for a while now, though this is the first time I had left a comment. For some reason, your work evokes a poignant feeling to me, maybe because of the color palettes. Long story short, I love how much your work reads like a book, like a short novel of some sort. It's as though the images are there to intensify the meaning of the words. Very lovely. Please keep up the good work.

(I especially love this one because of the mixture of innocence, seeming normalcy amidst unnaturallity and the sense of an impending doom. The contrast between the two are very flavorful.)

Thanks Charity! Your comic shines.

Eric: I've seen it indeed. I'd see it again. That movie has something strange and appealing, a certain ironic mood perhaps. Plus, Frank Langella. I love horror stories about books. I like it when I'm told that the end of the world comes through the pages of a book.

Have you seen The Ninth Gate? It has a blood face-painting scene with a French woman, and my mind lept straight to it.
